Creative Time for Me Guest Designer

Good morning everyone and welcome to my Guest Spot with "My Creative Time for Me" and my Friday Tip of the day.

Today I have made a few little goodies using quite a few of Emma's dies and stamps. I will list them for each picture. I hope you enjoy it!!

First up is My little shadow box I made. I purchased this for $3.99 at Hobby Lobby it was unfinished so I used Tim Holtz Picket Fence crackle paint. After it dried I used the Tim Holtz Vintage Photo Distress Ink to shade the corners and make some of the crackles pop out. The chickie is from Create a Critter and the sentiment is from Emma's "Hello Spring" Stamp set from her new release. The paper behind the chickie is from October Afternoon. (Forgive the pics it is late and not the greatest lighting...I am buying me one of those photobox's as soon as I get around to ordering it!)

Ok Next project is a couple little "treats" to give out! I bought the cute little Polka dot bucket at Hobby Lobby for $1.99 and this cute little bottle also was $1.99 filled it with my favorite chocolate covered raisins!! The bucket has some cute little chickie marshmellows...ps no chicks were harmed during this photoshoot....ok I ate a few!! I used the Egg die to make this cute little hanging tag for the bottle and used a stamp from "You had me at Chocolate" for both the sentiments and then used the little strip stamps from "Hello Spring" also to decorate the egg. Ink is from Powder Puff.

Next I used the cute little Silhouette stamp from "Hello Spring" and embossed it in white on this black Bazzill cardstock. I wanted it to stand out. I used the sentiment again from "You had me at Choclate" (I love this set!) This was a hard card to photograph in the evening! The sentiment says "Where have you been all my life" in case its hard to see in this pic.

Now for my Tip of the Day.....drum roll please.....

I like to find inexpensive ways to store my goodies in my craft room and I like having things that I use alot like Emma's stamps really handy and accessible so I purchased this "curtain rod (although its a wire but that is what they are calling it here at Ikea) from Ikea for around $5 and it comes with quite a few I believe 18 clips! You can purchase more of these clips places where they sell "Clip it Ups" but if you don't want to spend over $80 for one part of a clip it up this is ideal. It is close to the wall so it doesn't get in your way. I have enough room that I can also use part of it to hang my cards on. Here is some photos.
This is hanging right above my work area! Handy dandy!!
